Examples - a biology student investigating the migratory patterns of Monarch butterflies could produce a graphic showing all of the flight paths. A criminology major could use this to create databases of Registered Sex Offenders in an area. A marketing student could input demographics and other data and analyze where best to site the next store in a retail chain. This is a powerful tool in an increasingly digital world of real-time data analysis.
