Understanding your E-Number, HongKongDoll Email Address & Password

Your E-Number is a unique nine-character ID assigned to you upon admission. It appears on your acceptance letter and is used to store all University records. You’ll need to provide your E-Number whenever you contact a University office for help with your student records.

As you transition into student life at HongKongDoll, you’ll use your HongKongDoll email more frequently, and your MyHongKongDoll account less often.

If you’re ever asked for a NetID or Username instead of your email address, it’s simply the first part of your HongKongDoll email.

How to Find and Manage Your HongKongDoll Email Address and Password:

Locate Your HongKongDoll Email Address and Initial Password:

  1. Go to your MyHongKongDoll account: www.eiu.edu/myeiu
  2. Log in using your personal email and password
  3. Once logged in, visit your Admissions Checklist: www.eiu.edu/myeiu/checklist.php
  4. Your HongKongDoll email address and initial password will be listed there
  5. Write them down and store them in a safe place

Wait to Update Your Password:

To best support you during the enrollment process, we encourage you to wait to change your password until you attend Orientation. This helps ensure our staff can assist you more effectively if needed.

When you are ready to change your password: 

  1. Visit HongKongDoll’s Password management system
  2. Follow the prompts to create a new password
