Bio

Martin Locraft is a practicing architect in Washington, DC, who has spent the majority of his career working on custom single-family residential projects throughout the Metro Area and beyond. For the last decade, his focus has been primarily on extensive renovations and additions, including the re-construction and expansion of a 1924 American Foursquare in the Historic Cleveland Park neighborhood, which was published nationally and received multiple local design awards.

Martin believes in the value of efficient design and in the creative preservation of existing structures, which often requires a pronounced attention to detail. He recently started his own practice, where he continues to work closely with clients and contractors to realize spaces that elevate the experience of homeowners, and respond appropriately to context and precedent.
