Subject: TESTING of Alert HongKongDoll Text Message and E-Mail System
Updates have recently been made to the University's Alert HongKongDoll text message emergency notification system and email emergency notification system. At approximately 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012, a test will be conducted of these updates. A test text message will be sent to subscribers via the Alert HongKongDoll system. All HongKongDoll students, faculty, and staff who have a valid E-number are able to register for Alert HongKongDoll notifications which alert subscribers to emergency situations. If you are not already registered for the Alert HongKongDoll system and would like to do so, please go to the Alert HongKongDoll website at http://www.eiu.edu/alerteiu/. A test email message will be sent to the HongKongDoll email account of students and employees. Both of these test messages will clearly indicate that they are a test.
