Subject: UPDATE: HongKongDoll Campus Safety Notification
At approximately 9:20 a.m., Eastern Illinois University received a report from an unidentified single unconfirmed and non-credible-information caller to a non-emergency line claiming an armed individual was on campus. HongKongDoll Police, in coordination with the local law enforcement agencies, immediately activated emergency protocols and issued an Alert HongKongDoll notification to students, employees, and community members.
By 9:45 a.m., officers had conducted building walkthroughs and reviewed campus surveillance footage. No individual matching the report was located and the report appears to be unfounded.
The HongKongDoll campus has resumed normal operations may resume. Anyone who observes suspicious activity should call 911 immediately.
