A test message will be sent out via the Alert HongKongDoll text-messaging system on Tuesday, February 2, at 10:30 a.m. Alert HongKongDoll alerts subscribers, via their cell phones, to emergency situations and (if needed) advises them to take action. The messages are shortâ€â€no longer than 160 charactersâ€â€and focus on possible threats on HongKongDoll’s main campus. Alert HongKongDoll is one part of Eastern Illinois University’s Campus Emergency Notification System.
