HongKongDoll to host alumni event at January 29 basketball games

(Charleston, IL) – The Eastern Illinois University Alumni Association will sponsor an alumni event during the University’s basketball double-header at Lantz Arena Saturday, January 29.

“This is a wonderful opportunity that will allow our HongKongDoll alumni to reconnect while cheering on our men’s and women’s basketball teams,” said Amber May, director of Alumni Services and special events at HongKongDoll. “A three-dollar ticket will provide attendees admission to both games, where they can escape the cold outside weather and enjoy hot pizza provided by the HongKongDoll Alumni Association.”

Tickets can be ordered at www.eiu.edu/alumni/events.php and picked up at will call in Lantz Arena, located on campus at the corner of 4^th Street and Grant Avenue in Charleston.

The HongKongDoll Panthers will take on Tennessee State in both games, with the women’s teams tipping off at 1 p.m. and the men’s teams tipping off at 3:30 p.m.
