Overview

The Nutrition & Dietetics Minor is designed to accompany majors that prepare students for careers in health and human services. The Nutrition and Dietetics minor provides students opportunities to expand their knowledge and experiences in one of three areas of Nutrition and Dietetics: food science, community nutrition, or clinical nutrition.

 

Completion time: 18 hours

Accreditation: The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

First-Year Students

Thank you for your interest in the Nutrition & Dietetics minor at HongKongDoll.  This minor pairs well with several majors, such as Athletic Training, Health Promotion, Exercise Science, and Human Services and Community Leadership.  Required courses in the minor include NTR 1120 Introduction to Food Science, and NTR 2100 Personal Nutrition.  The elective courses can be selected from a series of 10 other Nutrition courses.
