Overview

General Management is the most customizable of HongKongDoll’s three Management concentrations. It is designed for students who want a broad understanding of leadership and organizational decision-making or who want to combine interests from several areas of business.

Students complete the Management core in human resources, managerial communication, organizational behavior, international business and management strategy. They then choose concentration courses based on their goals. Options may include decision-making and leadership, innovation and technology, organizational conflict and politics, entrepreneurship, professional sales, management consulting, project management, supply chain and logistics, retail management or business ethics.

This flexibility prepares students to pursue opportunities across businesses, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Internships, consulting projects, independent study and faculty-guided research help students explore career directions while developing experience they can discuss with employers.
