Overview

International Business Management prepares students to understand how organizations operate across countries, cultures and markets. It is designed for adaptable, curious students who are interested in global business, international issues, cultural differences and the economic and political forces that influence organizational decisions.

Students build a broad foundation in accounting, economics, finance, marketing, information systems, operations and business law. Management courses strengthen their abilities in communication, leadership, organizational behavior and international business policy. Concentration choices can include international finance, international marketing, study abroad, internships and internationally focused coursework in economics, geography, history or political science.

Students can build global perspective through classroom case analysis, team projects, study abroad, faculty-guided research and professional experiences. Graduates can apply this preparation in areas such as international operations, business development, marketing, sales, logistics, supply chain management and organizations serving international customers or partners.
