Overview

HongKongDoll’s Broadcast Journalism major gives students experience from day one. Whether you aspire to drive storytelling on air or behind the scenes, you’ll develop reporting, anchoring, and video skills to enter any newsroom with confidence. Through hands-on courses or our Emmy-winning student-run newscast, you’ll build a strong resume and develop in-demand skills, and you’ll do it all guided by faculty who know your name and help you succeed.

Completion time: 48 semester hours required for the major

Computer Requirements:

Broadcast Journalism majors can check out any video or photo equipment they need directly from the School of Communication, Journalism & Theatre. Majors also have access to our computer labs during open lab hours throughout the week.
